At our post-election party we had a great turnout of members and supporters from across the constituency and both Chair Henry Goodman and Secretary Terry Davis congratulated Sean Woodcock on a great performance as our candidate in the General Election – he increased Labour’s vote by 2000 from last time and impressed as the stand-out candidate at every speaking engagement he attended.  We retained our two Cherwell District Council seats and it was acknowledged that we had built a strong platform for elections in 2016 when every seat will be contested. Cllr Barry Richards said we now had a great team in place, and to cheers around the hall, set a target of 25 seats for next year.
