Sue Christie

Sue has lived in Barford St Michael for 27 years and knows Adderbury, Bloxham and Bodicote very well. She regularly uses local buses, shops and other services. Sue’s two daughters attended Bloxham Primary School and the Warriner School, where she served as a governor for many years. She was a founder member of the Board of the Warriner School Farm Trust.

Sue says:

“I consider myself a local and have already contributed to the life of these villages. We are all seeing the damaging effects of the Conservative Government and County Council’s cuts in public service budgets and chaotic changes to planning controls which have led to:

  • a planning free-for-all
  • closure of our mobile library service
  • over-crowding in local schools and
  • the lack of affordable housing

“I will work to defend the green spaces between our villages and Banbury, to protect local services and I promise to do my best to represent everyone living in Adderbury, Bloxham, Bodicote and Milton.”
