Sean Woodcock, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate from the 2015 General Election has been selected again to fight the Banbury & Bicester seat against the sitting MP Victoria Prentis.
Mr Woodcock was born at the Horton and lives in Banbury. He has been a district and town councillor for five years, and since 2013, leader of the Labour Group on Cherwell District Council.
Mr Woodcock says, “I believe that my record as a campaigner, particularly on the issue of the Horton General Hospital, speaks for itself, and I have been at the forefront in holding to account, this Conservative-dominated council.
I look forward to the election campaign where I’ll be fighting to address the issues and concerns of all residents across the constituency and at the same time putting forward my ideas to ensure that Britain remains a dynamic, enterprising and aspirational country that delivers jobs, maintains our rights and promotes prosperity for all.”
