Cameron seen to have signed petition to save the ACE Children’s Centre in Chipping Norton

A group of protestors fighting the closure ACE Children’s Centre waylaid Prime Minister David Cameron in Chipping Norton on Saturday 20 October.

Rumour has it that he actually signed a petition but this hasn’t been confirmed. Cameron said that he will “do what I can to support my constituents in their efforts to keep these important facilities open”, and later a spokesperson for Cameron said that he plans to speak to Oxfordshire County Council Leader Ian Hudspeth.”

Three Facebook groups have been set up:

Oxfordshire’s Children Centres, Save our Children’s Centres: Oxfordshire and Chipping Norton’s Campaign and Save the ACE Centre.
